Do you know that, too? Have you just really smoked your shisha and the shisha session feels like it's already over? We have a few tips on how you can extend the smoking time of your shisha .
The shisha tobacco does it
Shisha tobacco is characterized by its high moisture content. In contrast to normal tobacco pipes, the tobacco in the shisha does not burn directly when smoking; the moisture content evaporates first. In addition, the vapor content of shisha tobacco is higher than the smoke content. That's why you can enjoy a shisha bowl for longer. As soon as the shisha tobacco starts to burn, the smoking session is usually over. How long your shisha session lasts depends to a large extent on the right tobacco. Dschinni Tobacco is manufactured in such a way that it is very heat-resistant and therefore offers the optimal basis for a long smoking period. But even if your shisha tobacco is not sufficiently moistened, there is a solution. If your tobacco is still too dry even after stirring well to distribute the molasses, you should moisten it again. Honey molasses is best suited for this. Although you can simply use glycerin, honey molasses is much better for extending the smoking time. When used alone, glycerin only causes a lot of smoke. If your shisha tobacco has the right moisture content, it burns much more slowly.
Phunnel instead of tape head
The tobacco bowl can also make a big difference. A phunnel prevents liquid from the tobacco from flowing out while smoking. It shifts the vertical flow direction of the liquid to a horizontal one. So if you use a phunnel instead of a normal clay bowl, the moisture content of your tobacco will be retained for longer. If you prefer to smoke with a chimney attachment and therefore want to use a clay bowl, you can also extend the smoking time using the Seflex. The Dschinni Seflex 2.0 not only catches draining liquid, you can also distribute your amount of tobacco across several of the sieve inserts or alternatively fill it with steam stones and insert a new Seflex again and again to extend your smoking experience. Ideally, you should also use a molasses catcher . If the molasses runs into the smoke column and you continue smoking with a different type of tobacco, the taste will be distorted. Last but not least, heat management is of course also an important factor. A lower heat supply promises a longer smoking time, as the liquid in the shisha tobacco evaporates more slowly. If there is too much heat, the tobacco will start to burn more quickly.
